For Your Viewing Pleasure

Alexa propped her hymnal up on the lighthouse this morning and sang us several songs.
The girls played in their kitchen together for awhile today. Too cute!
Some people shovel snow on December 31. We play in the leaves
and rake them.

ABCs

Caleb wrote his ABCs on the white board while I was cooking dinner tonight and called me in to see. A few minutes later, he called me back to see what else he wrote. If you can't read it, it says, "Now noe my Abc." While the spelling is not perfect, I think this is the first time I've seen him use phonics to spell something without just asking me to spell it for him. Good job, Buddy!

Caleb spent the better part of the day playing his new Wii game and much of the rest of the day "reading" the manual that came with it.

Christmas Skype Style

We set up the webcam this afternoon and opened our presents from Dave's sisters while they were watching on Skype. Gotta love modern technology!

Caleb loved his new pillow pet and his sock monkey slippers.
Dave is still working on solving this puzzle, and he also got a pi shirt.
Alexa is wearing her beautiful princess shoes, and she also got a Snow White doll.
Jordanna is not quite sure what is going on, but she thinks it's fun.

And I am currently listening to my new MP3 player and can't wait to spend my Barnes and Noble gift card.
