Baby back ribs for Dave (Yes, he really was happy about this; I promise.)
And ice cream cones for the kids (Yes, Alexa was happy, too. It's apparently bad picture night.)

Sick Little Girl
Sunday we went to church as usual, hung out at Molly and Nick's house, and then headed back to church for the evening worship service. Before church even started, Alexa had a major meltdown, and we just felt something wasn't right and decided to take her home. Sure enough, soon after we got home, she threw up twice and was running a fever of 102. Yesterday, she stayed on the couch most of the day, and her fever got up to almost 104. Finally in the late afternoon, she perked up a bit and played for awhile. She woke up this morning with a low fever, which soon spiked, and she threw up again. I have a feeling it's going to be along day.

Fun with Math
My mom found some numbers that are similar to Post-It notes on clearance recently. I think they are meant to be used on poster boards. Anyway, Caleb and I (and Alexa and Jordanna, I suppose) put them to good use last night working on math problems. His knowledge and understanding of math are hindered at this point by his small motor skills (i.e. writing numbers). So, I try to find ways to work on math that don't require writing. He thought this was lots of fun and asked to "play the math game" again during school this morning.

82% Savings at Publix
I had a great trip to Publix yesterday. I spent $18.85 and saved $84.36. We were almost out of bathroom cleaner and dish soap, so it was great timing to find a deal on those. And my sponges were looking pretty sorry, so I was glad to be able to replace them cheaply.
Here's what I got -
And this reusable bag, too. I forgot to include it in the first picture.
1 loaf Publix wheat bread - $1.69
1 dozen Eggland's Best eggs - $1.49
2 bottles Dawn dish detergent - FREE
4 jars Peter Pan peanut butter - $.86
2 bottles Dentyne gum - $.15 each
1 bag baby carrots - $1.50
1 carton strawberries - $1.25
2 packages Hebrew National hot dogs - $1.75 each
2 bottles Scrubbing Bubbles bathroom cleaner - $.35 each
2 boxes Orville Redenbacher popcorn - $.08 each
10 Tombstone pizzas - $.25 each
1 carton Starbucks ice cream - $1.15
1 Publix reusable bag - FREE
2 Scotch Brite scrub sponges - $.29 each
2 tubes Benadryl cream - $.39 each
I also used a $2 Catalina from Kroger on my purchase.

4 Month Update
I took Jordanna to the doctor today for her four month check up today. She got a clean bill of health, and she got her 2nd set of shots. She weighs 13 lbs 1 oz and is 24 1/4 inches long. She's in the 90th percentile for height and just below the 50th for weight. She's going to be tall and skinny like the other two.
In other Jordanna news, she's been waking up to Dave's alarm this week, so I put her to bed in Alexa's room tonight. We'll see how it goes.

Weekend Happenings
After these adorable little stinkers woke us up awfully early Thursday morning, we decided to go ahead and pack up and head home a bit earlier than we had planned.
Alexa napped in the van on the way home, asked to nap once we got home, and asked to be put to bed early. She's been fighting a cold, and was one tired little girl! Jordanna screamed on the way home unless someone was sitting beside her holding her thumb in her mouth, and she still screamed some even then.
Thursday night, Dave and I watched this movie. We both enjoyed it.
Friday, the kids and I met some friends at the park in the morning. I took the camera, but I didn't take any pictures. Friday afternoon, Alexa, Jordanna, and I ran some errands while Dave and Caleb played on the Wii (which they did a lot this weekend). Friday night we crashed early, which was good since two little girls woke us up before 7:00 this morning. The good news, though, is that Jordanna slept 9 hours last night.
This morning, Molly and I went to the mall. I got the kids some new sunglasses (among other things). I was going to save them for our trip to the beach, but I decided to go ahead and give them to them. Hopefully they won't lose them.
This afternoon, both girls napped, Dave and Caleb played the Wii (are you sensing a theme here?) and I did some baking for tomorrow.
Now, Dave is gone to the hockey game with Nick, and I need to get up and go put the kids to bed.

The Almost Pictureless Thread
We had another fun day yesterday, but I forgot to take the camera on our outing. So, you'll have to use your imagination.
After Jordanna took her morning nap and the kids played in the hot tub and outside for a bit, we headed to "town." First stop was a little place called Good Fellas where we had a yummy lunch. Then we stopped at an apple orchard. Obviously apples are not in season now, but I enjoyed a fried apple pie, and Dave had a fried peach pie with ice cream on top. Alexa and Caleb had HUGE lollipops. I wish I had gotten a picture of Alexa's adorable, sticky, blue face.
We then browsed the downtown area before we tried to bowling. I say tried because the whole bowling alley was full of old people and their bowling league. So we went back to downtown and went mini-golfing and mining for rocks instead. On our way back to the cabin, we stopped at the grocery store and got the makings for smores.
Jordanna was quite the trooper through our 4 hour outing even though she only managed to catch a catnap here and there. She was mostly smily and happy anyway. So when we got back to the cabin, all the girls, me included, took a much needed nap.
After dinner and another soak in the hot tub, Dave got a fire going for smores. And I finally got our the camera and got some pictures.
Then it was off to bath and bed for the kids. And off to the hot tub with a glass of wine for us. All in all, it was a very fun day.

Four Months
Spring Break in the Mountains
Just like my mom, what I haven't mentioned yet is that we are out of town this week for Spring Break. We are enjoying the beautiful views of the North Georgia mountains. Our friends have graciously allowed us to us their cabin before, but this is the first time we've brought the kids with us. We've had lots of fun so far and have more activities planned for today once Jordanna wakes up from her nap.
Jordanna chilling with Daddy
Alexa wearing the bear slippers
Coloring
Watching a movie
Cuddling in bed
The sunrise from the front porch
Helton Creek Falls
Vogel State Park
Playing Twister
Soaking in the hot tub (or the hot pool like Caleb calls it)
