I realized that Sierra and Audrey had matching outfits, both purchased at different consignment sales. So, of course, we had to dress them in their matching outfits and get some pictures.
Too cute!
I think I will eat your face off. Or maybe give you a kiss.

On the Move
While Sierra is not crawling yet, she is still on the move. The other day, I sat her in front of her pink pillow to play, and I came back to find her getting toys out of the cabinet. Little stinker!

Hand-Me-Downs
I'm sure we will get to the point where my girls dislike hand-me-downs, but for right now, it's still fun to see outfits come around again. This outfit was Caleb's (I can't find a picture), and it has been through all of my girls and Audrey as well.

Cloudy Day at the Fair
As we usually do, we were planning to go the fair again the second Saturday it was opened. We had promised Caleb that he could ride the roller coaster since he didn't get to the first Saturday. Then, Alexa threw up in the wee hours of Saturday morning, and it was very overcast on Saturday morning. So, Molly and Nick decided not to go to the fair with us. After some discussion/confusion, Dave and I finally decided that he would stay home with Alexa, and I would go to the fair with other three kids and my friend, Megan, and her kids. Despite the circumstances, we had a great time, and we didn't even get rained on.

These spinny things made me dizzy just watching them.

From My Kitchen
Dave was out of town for two nights last week. One of those nights, my big three kids slept over with some friends from church. So, it was just me for dinner (Sierra, who doesn't eat table food anyway, was already in bed). So, here's what I had - mozzarella sticks, cheese filled pretzels, chicken sandwiches, and blackberry pear hard cider. Not a vegetable or fruit in sight.

Teaching Time
Enjoying hot chocolate and apple cider with our morning Bible/literature time.
Reading the Bible book that Oma gave us.
Alexa watching her math movie. She is working on matching the numbers to the blocks of the correct length. This is one of the steps on the way to learning addition.
Caleb doing his math on the board. He is finishing a chapter on 3 digit addition and subtraction.
Alexa measuring salt to make bread for dinner.
