Twenty-Seven Months

Ignore the fact that I haven't blogged in a month. Now on to Sierra. How is it possible that it has been three months since her birthday?

Here's what Sierra is up to at 27 months -

 -Weighs 25ish lbs and is about 34.5 inches tall.

- Is back to having trouble with pooping.  As soon as we get this issue figured out, it seems to get worse again.

-Wears a mix of 2T and 3T clothes.  Once the weather decided to stay warm, she'll be mostly in 3T.

-Wears a size 4 diaper.

-Naps once a day around 1:00.  Goes to bed around 8 and sleeps until about 8.  Very rarely sleeps until 9 anymore.
-Walks a lot now.  She walks around the house, around at church, and a bit outside.  She still prefers to hold someone's hand in large or unknown places.  And she's still a bit wobbly.  She has started "jumping" which is hilarious as her feet don't actually leave the ground.
-Started speech therapy.  Has added "more" and "please" to her repertoire of signs.  Will try to make sounds when working with the therapist, but still doesn't say words really.
-Has her new fairy princess orthotics, which Alexa and Jordanna picked out.
 -Sleeps in a big girl bed!  The crib that someone from church so kindly gave us shortly after we got married was picked up by the trash men today.  :(
-Likes swinging at the park.
-Loves her Daddy. Mommy is a close second.
-Loves hugs and tickles and kisses. 
-Is my sweet Sierra, and I love her lots.  Even when she's rotten.

Tea Party

We were all off of school on Tuesday even though it just rained.  There was a prediction of snow and icing, and some areas got some, but not us.  Anyway, the kids had a tea party with juice and cookies after lunch.  So cute!

Daddy Daughter Date Night

Dave took the girls to Chickfila for Daddy Daughter Date Night on Saturday.  This was Sierra's first time going, and she was mostly well-behaved.  The girls came home with flowers, goody bags, and Chickfila cows.  Meanwhile Caleb and I went out for Mexican food and to buy him some new shoes since he outgrew every pair he had. 

Making Valetine's Cards

The girls had lots of fun (and made a huge mess) making their own homemade Valentines for their friends.  Caleb made some, too, but I didn't get any pictures of him.

Sierra thinks Alexa makes a good seat for watching Elmo.

During the snow and cold last week, Jordanna's hair had some major static issues going on!

Snowmageddon Part I

Apparently Snowmageddon Part II is on it's way (although we've just gotten rain so far), and I realized that I never posted pictures from our snow a few weeks ago.
