We babysat for Audrey one day last week, and it was so cute watching her and Sierra interact.

What are these?
Let's see.
I can hide behind them.
I'll take that one, thanks.
Want one?
Okay, I'll just throw it then.
I'm leaving.
What else can we get into?

My Four Small Valentines
We (which really means me, but I signed Dave's name, too) got the kids each a book and some candy for Valentine's Day. I think they liked them!
Then we had a heart shaped pizza and some popcorn and other goodies.
And we ate dinner while watching a movie.

Valentine's Day Party
We hosted our annual Valentine's Day Party last week. Even the white board was ready for Valentine's Day.
I'm a glutton for punishment, so we made homemade Valentines this year. Caleb's were super heroes, and Alexa's were bubbles.
Jordanna's flowers, and Sierra's picture cards.
A cute Valentine!
Passing out cards.
Later on we had lunch, but I was too busy feeding a bunch of small people to take pictures. I made ham sandwiches cut into heart shapes and cookies with Valentine's sprinkles.

Fourteen Months
Here's what Sierra is up to at 14 months -
-Weighs 18
pounds, 10 ounces. She is on a medication to stimulate her appetite, and her doctor is pleased with her weight gain.
-Is eating very well these days. She still loves her oatmeal. She also likes graham crackers, rice, pizza and pretty much hates all fruits and vegetables. She doesn't take any more baby food. She still doesn't love the sippy cup, but we are working on it. She's still nursing well.
-Wears 12-18 month clothes. Some of her pants are starting to get to short, though.
-Still wears a size 3 disposable diaper. Um, still not using cloth.
-Has 15 teeth, with number 16 coming soon.-Naps twice a day around 9:30 and 1:00. Goes to bed around 7:30. Sleeps through the night regularly!
-Loves music.
-Still pulls up to her knees, Has almost gotten to her feet.
-Crawls far and fast but is usually content to play in one spot for awhile.
-Waves hi and almost says something resembling hi.
-Is so sweet and so content most days. She still has her bad moments and bad days. Who doesn't? But she is getting happier and easier everyday.
Daddy and His Princesses
Dave took the older girls to Daddy Daughter Date Night at Chickfila this year just like he did last year. But, this year the girls thought that matching Cinderella dresses for the occasion. And Dave was a good sport and took these two princess out to dinner.

Teaching Time
Caleb had a school project last week to make gold nuggets or salt blocks. He was studying the African nation of Ghana, which taxed the gold and salt that passed through it for trading. Anyway, he chose the gold nuggets, which involved lots of gold glitter, so I kicked the kids out on the porch, and let Alexa make some, too.

From My Kitchen
Molly is teaching my kids piano lessons, and I am "paying" her in cooking or baking. She recently requested that I make things for Audrey that contain hidden vegetables. I saw a recipe for zucchini yeast bread in a cookbook last week, and I knew I had to try it. I decided to make a loaf for my kids as well. It was yummy bread, and the zucchini was virtually undetectable. This recipe was definitely a keeper.
