Sixteen Months

Here's what Sierra is up to at 16 months - 

-I don't know her weight or length right now.  She doesn't have a check up with her pediatrician until 18 months, but I'm sure some doctor will weigh her between now and then.

-Is eating very well in quantity.  She seems to hate most if not all vegetables and fruit, though.  I think it's a texture thing.

-Drinks 4-6 oz of juice from her sippy cup each day!  Also drinks some water.  Still hates cow's milk, but I mix it with her oatmeal, and she also eats whole milk yogurt.

-Nurses only 3 times a day - morning, nap time, and bedtime.

 -Wears 18 month clothes.  She has approximately enough clothes for 3 children.  Lots of hand-me-downs!

-Still wears a size 3 disposable diaper, but I plan to buy size 4 as soon as the ones we have are gone.

-Has 16 teeth.
 -Naps twice a day around 9:30 and 1:30.  Goes to bed around 7:45. Sleeps through the night.  I skipped her morning nap one day last week during vacation, and she fell asleep on the floor.
-Can wave on command, give kisses, and clap.
-Has the goofiest grin.
-Her hairs is getting longer in the back, but is still not really growing much in the front.
-Is no longer the youngest one in our extended family and loves her baby cousin, Mac-Ella.  She tried to grab and touch her both in person and on Skype.
-Had her first visit with the Occupational Therapist, who estimated her fine motor skills at 11-12 months and recommended therapy 2-3 times a month to get her caught up.
-Still is not pulling up to standing on her own, but she is getting closer.  She can get on to one foot, and she can get all the way up with a boost.  I also saw her last week on her hands and feet instead of her hands and knees.
-Gives the sweetest cuddles, and we love her very much!
