Camping In

In the living room that is. Our theme this week is camping. So far we have read Maisy Goes Camping and Fred and Ted Go Camping. I also got a few other books and a Kidsongs DVD A Day at Camp from the library. Today I set up the tent in the living room (I thought about doing it outside, but it was raining a bit this morning. And there is no air conditioning out there.) and made some trail mix for a snack. The kids had a good time "camping" for a few minutes, but then they ran off to do some more cooking in their kitchen.
