A nearby town hosts a concert and fireworks on July 3rd. We decided to do that instead of festivities on the fourth, so that we wouldn't keep the kids out late before church. It was a good decision, too since Caleb slept until 9:20 this morning. Alexa tolerated the fireworks, but she was very tired and a bit grumpy by the time they started. Caleb LOVED them. Caleb in his fireman hat. As soon as I told him we were going to say fireworks, he said that he needed his fireman hat to watch fireworks and ran to get it.
