As soon as Dave got home from school today, the kids climbed in the back of the truck to play. I think they will be very sad to realize that we are planning to return the truck to its rightful owner once we get a van.

Little Goof Ball

In the several days that she has spent with Grammy and Gramps over the last week, Alexa has discovered MP3 players. She saw mine tonight and wanted to listen to it. She shared with Caleb for a few minutes (He was very excited to hear "Come Thou Fount" when he put the headphones on), but she pretty much walked around listening to music until bedtime.

Dave's New Ride

We heard from the insurance company yesterday, and my van is totaled. So Dave is driving this lovely specimen of a truck right now. A coworker of his graciously offered to let him borrow it until we could get a new car. Right now we are waiting for the insurance settlement, and then we will go buy a new van, hopefully this weekend. I have my eye on one a 2008 Kia Sedona in any color except for gold, silver, or white. I'll let you know what I end up getting.

We had a great weekend up in the mountains with Molly and Nick. Thanks so much to our friends who let us use their cabin. Here are some pictures.
