Eleven Months

It's hard to believe that our baby girl is eleven months old!  Only one month until her birthday.  I'm already working on planning her party.

I had a hard time getting a good picture today because she is sick.  She has been fighting a virus for over 2 weeks now (as have all of us off and on), including a trip to urgent care for a breathing treatment for croup.

Here's what Sierra is up to at 11 months -
-Weighs about 17.5 pounds and is about 29 inches long.  Yay for gaining weight!
-Eats real food now!  She still doesn't eat great quantities, but no more baby food for her!  She eats oatmeal for breakfast every morning.  I have tried a few other things, but oatmeal is her favorite.  She has also had carrots, peas, black eyed peas, potatoes, green beans, broccoli, tomatoes, black beans, cannelini beans, peaches, grapes, banana, blueberries, pancakes, eggs, Molly's birthday cake, crackers, quesadillas, chicken, Italian sausage, ham, cheese, and more.  She takes a few sips of juice or water here and there.
-Wears 12 month clothes and even some 12-18 month.
-Still wears a size 3 disposable diaper.  I haven't used cloth diapers much of the last month because I can barely keep up with the laundry as it is.
-Still needs a drool bib on all the time.
-Has 8 teeth.
 -Nurses every 2.5-3 hours.
-Naps twice a day around 9:30 and 1:00.  Goes to bed around 7:00.
-Still waking up 1-2 (or more) times a night. We plan to work on this over Thanksgiving break.
--Babbles, coos, growls, laughs, and "sings" with us.
-Bites. Hard and often.  She leaves teeth marks.
-Scootches while reaching to get things she wants.
-Has enough hair for a (ridiculous looking) hair bow.

Sweetness

Well, hello, poor neglected blog.  Somehow life just gets in the way of blogging sometimes.  Anyway, Jordanna loves hanging out with her big brother. Here are some pictures to prove it.

Swinging Silliness

Jordanna and Sierra love swinging at the park.  The other two run around so fast that I can never get their picture.
