Again!?!
That is what Alexa exclaimed when she looked out of the window on Tuesday morning to see it snowing. Again!?! I agreed with her. There are some winters when we don't see even a flurry here in GA, and this was our third measurable snow fall this winter. I'm done with snow! The kids did have fun getting to play in the snow with Daddy, who came home early from school, while Jordanna and I napped.

And by comparison, here is the snow we got at the beginning of March last year. And here is a picture of Alexa wearing shorts and a t-shirt at the beginning of March two years ago. You just never know what to expect the weather to do around here this time of year.

72% Savings at Publix
Alternate Title: Yes, you can use coupons and still buy healthy foods.
One common objection to coupon is that there are only coupons for junk food. While it is true that there are a lot of coupons for junk food, that does not mean you have to only purchase junk food if you want to use coupons and save money at the grocery store.
This week at Publix, I spent $24.04 and saved $63.11. I used a coupon for $5/$30 purchase (Thanks, Molly!). I got some great deals, and I did not just buy a lot of junk!
And here is the cutie who helped me with the groceries. My other helpers were playing outside.

Wii Excercise
After a bit of a search, Dave finally found the Wii Fit Plus game with balance board at a local Walmart. It was technically my birthday present, but I opened it early and have been using it to work out with 4-5 days a week. Caleb likes watching me, and he especially likes it when his Mii appears on the screen. Sometimes he even gets up and does some dance moves with me.

February 2010 Books Read
As I mentioned in January, I am planning to keep track of the books that I read this year. Well technically, it should really be the books that I finish reading. I read about 1/4 of a library book last week before I finally gave up on it last night. Anyway, I did not finish as many books in February as I did in January, but I am currently in the middle of three books, so March should be better.
Here's what I read -
8) Be Our Guest by the Disney Institute - Dave had to read this for school, and I picked it up off of his pile. It was an interesting read.
9) A Bend in the Road by Nicholas Sparks - He is one of my favorite authors, and I picked up this, one of his older books, to reread.
10) To Kill a Mockingbird by Harper Lee - For school. This is one of my favorite books that I get to teach this year.
