Beach Days 4-5

Yesterday morning, Molly, Alexa, Jordanna, and I went back to house #1 and cleaned up and returned the keys to the rental company. (This afternoon I noticed I was missing something, though, so hopefully they'll let me back in tomorrow.) Then we went out for breakfast using a restaurant.com gift card we had brought from home. It was yummy and cheap! After breakfast, we spent the morning at the beach. We chilled all afternoon, and then Dave and I went out for our anniversary while Molly and Nick kept the kids. Molly made the kids a yummy dinner of quesadillas.
This was the first date Dave and I have been on since Jordanna was born, so we thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. Dave had a steak for dinner, and I had shrimp and grits. Yummy. Then we walked on the pier, got gas, and started back to the house. It's a good thing that we were already on the way back because Molly called to let us know that a certain baby girl wanted her Mommy. By the time we got back Uncle Nick had calmed her down, but she was still glad to see Mommy.

This morning, we spent at the beach again. The afternoon was spent napping or playing the Wii. Tonight, Molly and Nick went out to dinner while we went back to the beach. Here are some pictures from today.

No one's there because it's a very residential beach. Lots of houses, a few condos way down on the other end of the island, and no hotels. It's great having the beach almost to ourselves!

..and the kids got us up at 6:30 am every morning, so we were on the beach pretty early
