I got my haircut after school today. It was way past time; I can't even remember when I got it cut last. Sometime during the summer, I think. Thanks to my friend Annette for keeping the kids a bit longer today so I could go get it cut. And also as promised, a picture of my new glasses. I still need to go get them adjusted, so they might look a bit crooked.

So are the glasses worth the price?
Yes, I think so. They aren't the best made frames, but I did buy the cheapest ones they sell. The prescription seems fine, and they came in a case with a cleaning rag and the sunglasses.
Put that hair behind your ear!!! :)
You got your last haircut in the beginning of June. We went to the mall and then met your parents at the Cheesecake Factory for your Mom's birthday.
ooooooo star for dave!!! (for remembering)
I bet he remembers because he had to walk the mall with the kids while I got it cut. :)
No, he remembers because he knows my birthday. It's forever etched in his brain from the game at your wedding reception.
I can remember Joan's birthday because it's a palindrome, and I can make a mathematical equation out of it
Okay, I looked up that word in my Dictionary and it was not in there...
are you sure it's a word? or just a mathematical phrase.
Dave says to stop using a Canadian dictionary.
A palindrome is a word or in this case a date that is the same forwards and backwards. Like "Anna," "racecar," or "gag."
Maybe we need a "real" dictionary for
Christmas...
