Too early was the theme of our morning. First, Alexa woke us up at 6:45, which is too early for a Saturday, especially when Mommy stayed up late reading a book. Since we were already up, we decided to go run some errands this morning. We went to the library, only to discover that we were about 10 minutes too early. They don't open until 10:00 on Saturday mornings. So we headed to Target where we got my birthday present, a new George Foreman grill with removable plates. And I even got to open it tonight to grill hamburgers and hot dogs for dinner, even though it is too early. My birthday is not until the 23rd.
After Target, we went back to the library. Then I ran in Walgreens with Alexa while Dave went to Blockbuster, which is right next door to Walgreens, with Caleb. All of a sudden Caleb walked into Walgreens and said, "Hi, Mommy!" No worries, Dave was right behind him. We were once again too early, since Blockbuster doesn't open until 11:00 on Saturdays. By the time I finished at Walgreens, they were open, and we rented Madagascar II to watch with the kids tonight. As usually happens, they were very wiggily and got bored of the movie, so we put them in bed before it was over.

How come you get a birthday present 16 days early?
Because Dave was tired of cleaning the old grill that doesn't have removable plates.
